OMEGA
SPEEDMASTER APOLLO-SOYUZ 35th ANNIVERSARY LIMITED EDITION
 Omega
have just announced the launch of a
brand new limited edition watch
celebrating the 35th Anniversary of the historic handshake
between the American and Russian astronauts in 1975.
The
dial has been created from a meteorite which survived it's
entry into the Earth's atmosphere. The meteorite's unusual
structure is the result on it's high temperature and each
dial is a single piece cut from the meteorite; accordingly,
because no two pieces cut from the meteorite are exactly
alike, each watch in this limited edition is
absolutely unique.
This
watch is a strictly limited edition of 1,975 watches and
is priced at £5,010.

TAG
HEUER 'CARRERA' CALIBRE 1
TAG
Heuer iconic Carrera line celebrates the brand's legendary
association with the world of racing circuits. The remarkable
story of the line started in 1964, when a visionary young
Swiss watchmaker, Jack Heuer, great-grandson of Edouard
Heuer, the founder of the company, unveiled the first Heuer
Carrera watch as a tribute to the 'Carrera Panamericana
Mexico Road Race'.
The
pure lines of the watch architecture make one think of the
glistening bodywork of a collector's car. The case, 43mm
in diameter, is crafted from polished steel. The sapphire
crystal is provided with the double glare proofing. The
transparent case back reveals the finesse of the classic
mechanical hand-wind movement based on the mechanisms incorporated
by pocket watches developed in the 1960s.
This
limited edition watch is number 0644 of the 6,000 produced
and is priced at £2,750
