For
the 2011 MotoGP season Tissot, as official timekeeper of MotoGP,
have announced the new limited edition
of the Tissot T-Race watch which we feature below. As with previous
years these watches have always sold extremely fast. We now have
stock of the quartz version. |

Orange
is the standout colour of this year’s Tissot T-Race MotoGP
Limited Edition. Contrasted with sporty black and silver, the
trendsetting hue graces the racing tyre-inspired silicone strap
and is accented on the dial, made of the same carbon fibre used
for MotoGP bike bodies. The stainless steel case back sports the
MotoGP iconic logo, and Tissot’s role as World Championship
Official Timekeeper is proudly engraved around its rim. The GMT
rotating bezel, also inspired by the bike’s brake disc,
will keep race fans in touch with their favourite sport as it
moves through 15 countries around the globe. Racing functions
are handled by three chronograph subdials: 30-minute counter at
10 o’clock, 1/10 seconds counter at 2 o’clock and
a small seconds counter at 6 o’clock. The date function
is presented via a magnifying window at 3 o’clock, and the
dial is shielded by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Launched
in a limited edition of 8,888
watches and each housed in a gorgeous chequered
flag presentation box, this is the essential racing timepiece
of the 2011 season.
