The Bristol Scout was a single-seat rotary-engine biplane originally designed as a racing aircraft. Produced between 1914-1916, It was the first single-seater to be used as a fighter aircraft, however due to its large propeller, it was not fitted with any weapons, so it was used more as a scouting plane.
Built out of a high-grade polished stainless steel, the 45mm case encases a gorgeous light cream dial set with black numbers and accents, made for very quick easy reading, something that was important for the pilots of the Bristol all them years ago. Equipped with two silver hands and set with superluminova, a non-radioactive substance that illuminates in the dark, this makes for very easy reading. The dial is also set with a sub dials for seconds at 9 o’clock and a date window at 3 o’clock.
Powering this stunning timepiece is a Sellita SW 290-1 automatic movement, made with 31 jewels that ensure there is less friction in your watches movement keeping the parts flowing smoother for longer.
A sapphire crystal glass protects this watch, which is very scratch resistant, and a promise of 50 meters water resistance, makes this timepiece a very reliable watch for a busy lifestyle and for everyday wear.
Complementing the head of the watch perfectly is the leather strap completed with white stitching and a steel pin and buckle.
