The Supermarine range since its inception has had a distinctive look which has been refreshed with the launch of Bremont’s first sports chronograph piece. Working with extreme adventurers and explorers has always been a key tenet of the Bremont brand DNA and a crucial part of the product testing. Former Royal Marine Commando, ex Special Forces Sergeant and current ‘SAS: Who Dares Wins’ star, Jason Fox is the latest ambassador to join Bremont.
A considerable amount of design detail has been carefully incorporated into the 43mm case of the new Supermarine Chrono. Making this watch so robust to be ‘tested beyond endurance’ is key to making it suitable for professional use and much of this is attributed to the stainless-steel Trip-Tick case. Lying inside the famous case construction of Bremont is an anti-magnetic Faraday cage to protect the movement from magnetic fields and mounted in an anti-shock base.
The classic combinations of black, white, gold and red form the colour palette of this handsome piece. The black and white ‘panda’ style dial highlights key areas with the gold and red playing a part in popping the visual aspects of other key features.
Dense sapphire crystal glass with an anti-reflective treatment adds to security of this timepiece meaning wear and tear will not be applied easily. A COSC certified movement, modified by Bremont the calibre 13 ¼''' BE-54AE automatic chronometer that has a 38-hour power reserve and is a good all-rounder to pass the strict time keeping scales of COSC with chronograph and GMT functionality.
Completing this watch is a 22mm integrated rubber strap perfect for water usage of up to 200 meters and providing a clean look. In the Bremont leather presentation case you are provided with a tool to adjust the strap yourself and a 3-year international warranty.
