The night is a special ops best ally and it is essential to have reliable kit, Bremont have created just that! In line with their more technical Supermarine models, the S502 Jet incorporates certain vital functions required for extreme diving particularly with the uni-directional rotating bezel and a protective patented antishock movement mount.
Bremonts iconic ‘Jet’ black palette extends to the rubber strap of the robust timepiece. The S502 Jet features GMT and date functionality as well as an impressive 500m water resistance. The timepiece has an automatic helium escape valve and crown protector. The 43mm case, in-keeping with Bremonts three-piece trip-tick case construction, is stainless-steel complete with a black scratch resistant DLC treatment. Still taking inspiration from aviation this timepiece has a closed case back decorated with an engraving of the Supermarine Seaplane, something that has become somewhat o a trademark of this range.
Protected by domed anti-reflective, scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass the black dial a date window positioned at three o’clock. The contrasting hands and hour markers are filled with a blue emission Super-LumiNova to increase readability. With an impressive 42--hour power reserve enclosed in the timepiece is the Modified calibre BE-93-2AV automatic movement that is modified by Bremont in the UK to meet their strict standards.
Working with extreme adventurers and explorers has always been a key tenet of the Bremont brand DNA and a crucial part of the product testing. For these specific models, Bremont has enlisted the help of two ex Special Forces Operators and brand ambassadors to test the watches to the limit.
