THE END OF AN ERA – A MESSAGE FROM PETER
44 years ago, when I was just 18 years old, I founded Peter Jackson the Jeweller.
In that time, we have created countless lifelong customers and friends and had the privilege of being a part of many happy occasions.
We have shared some of the most important moments in our customer’s lives – engagements, weddings, christenings, graduations, anniversaries and many more. We have supplied engagement rings to people who’s parents bought their engagement ring from us and retirement gifts to people who treated themselves to a new watch on their first day at work.
Among our magnificent team, I am immensely proud to have 10 colleagues, many of whom you will know personally, who have been with me for more than 10 years, 6 of whom have been with me for more than 20 years. We could never have achieved everything we have without their dedication and support.
We have worked with some of the world’s leading luxury brands and have supported many charities and worthy causes.
And now, after a wonderful journey, I have decided that the time is right for me to retire. It has been a difficult and emotional decision, but I am looking forward to the challenges and adventures that lie ahead.
I am delighted to announce that our beautiful shops in Preston and Blackburn will be under new ownership from Monday 20th July. Watcho, an established and respected family jeweller from London will bring with them new ideas and collections and take the business forward to its next chapter. The Management and staff will remain and look forward to welcoming you as always.
The look of the shops and the offer may change, but our dedication to quality, value and the very best of customer service will be just as you have always known.
