An emerald cut diamond (so called because it replicates the shape of the emerald crystal), has a stunning and unique look with all the facets parallel to the edge of the diamond. Clarity is more important in an emerald than any other diamond because of the larger table giving great visibility into the gem. The quality of the cut is vital because having fewer facets than other diamonds, only the highest grade of the cut will unlock the diamond’s true fire or brilliance.
