The Bremont Broadsword is a timepiece with a very special heritage; being one of three watches made by Bremont in partnership with the Ministry of Defence honouring Her Majesty’s Armed Forces. Through this partnership Bremont are the only luxury watch provider with the privilege of legitimately using the emblems of the Navy, British Army and the Royal Air Force on a watch available to civilians.
The inspiration for this timepiece comes from the original ‘Dirty Dozen’ watches which were commissioned for the Army during world war two. The watches were made by 12 different manufacturers and all featured a black dial with luminous hands and hour markers.
A simplistic watch that features a very readable dial; key to any professional watch. Simple white numerals are paired with C1 Super-LumiNova® dots and finished hands to enhance the viewing in low lights. A sub-dial with the separate seconds hand on the dial is a great nod to the original ‘Dirty Dozen’.
Polished and satin finished steel adorns the case, bezel and crown which are constructed with two-piece construction. The emblems of the Navy, British Army and the Royal Air Force are cast similarly in polished steel on the back of the watch to signify the amazing achievement that has been reached with these timepieces.
Ensuring the watch is to the standard of the Ministry of Defence, the timepiece has a 20mm khaki green sailcloth strap and domed anti-reflective sapphire crystal glass which is highly scratch resistant.
Complete with all Bremont watches is a three-year international warranty and special watch packaging.
