Bremont introduces the latest model as part of their Jaguar collection. Celebrating the icon of British racing with the introduction of the Bremont Jaguar C-Type. Bremont have created a stunning 43mm Chronograph watch, combining Bremont’s design aesthetic with the C-type’s signature simplicity and elegance.
Jaguar launched its first post-war sports car, the Jaguar XK120, at the London Motor show in 1948. Inspired by its design, the XK120 C was later introduced in 1951, this became widely known as the C-type for ‘competition’ and renowned as a pioneering race car.
The stainless steel Bremont Trip-Tick case construction with scratch resistant PVD treated case middle features an anodized aluminium bi-directional rotating bezel which is influenced by the original aluminium bodywork of the Jaguar C-type. The screw down winding crown is engraved with the original Jaguar heritage Dunlop tyre tread, iconic to Bremont’s Jaguar range of watches. The case back features a decorative coin depicting a C-type hood badge.
Protected by domed anti-reflective scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass is a silver-plated dial incorporating Bremonts classic raised central section with sunburst finishing and a debossed Jaguar Heritage logo. The dial features hour markers, a date window at 6 o’clock and two chronograph sub-dials. Again, as a nod to Jaguar, the red accent on the 9-hour sub-dial draws inspiration from the original Smiths gauges from the C-type, complimented by the chronograph hand which takes inspiration from the needle seen on the original C-type tachymeter. For increased readability the black hour and minute hands are filled with Super-LumiNova with a blue emission.
Encased within the watch is the chronometer certified movement, Swiss made and assembled to Bremont’s specification in the UK, the Modified Calibre 13 1/4''' BE-50AV automatic chronometer movement provides an impressive 42-hour power reserve.
Presented on a tan, brown leather racing strap, continuing the vintage inspired design, this stunning timepiece is water resistant to 200 meters. Complete with official Bremont packaging your watch will come with a 3-year international warranty.
