Paying homage to the beautiful range of Jaguar E-type sports cars, first launched in 1961 and described as the fastest and most beautiful car of their time; Bremont have produced their own inspiring range of Jaguar inspired watches, with intricate details throughout the pieces making them all that bit more magical.
The MKIII carries influences from the car it was inspired by. The black dial with its bold numbers and red block is a representation of the original speedo. The classic Jaguar logo is too adorned on the dial and case back. To add to the vintage the feel, the blue perforated strap with white stitching is a handsome touch.
One of our particular favourite additions to the watch is the simple yet inspired detailing on the crown itself that matches the thread of the same original Dunlop tyre used on the E-Type.
Hardened stainless steel, polished to a high standard and created through Bremont’s Trip-Tick case construction stabilises the model which is DLC treated and waterproof to 100 meters. The crown holds a patterned style similar to that of an E-type tyre.
Encased within the watch is the chronometer certified movement, Swiss made and assembled to Bremont’s specification in the UK, the calibre 11 ½''' BE-36AE automatic chronometer is a movement well respected and perfect fit for this watches concept; a revered engine within a beautiful body.
