A mission-ready robust timepiece with GMT functionality comes in the form of the Bremont Supermarine S302. This handsome timepiece (S302-JET-R-S) hand assembled at Bremont’s UK state of the art facility in Henley-On-Thames.
Bremont have taken a colour palette of black for the ‘JET’ effect of the S302 that features a polished nickel-plated GMT with orange tip and date functionality set at 3 o’clock, as well as polished nickel-plated hands both filled with vintage Super-lumiNova (blue and green emissions) that shows the time when in dim lit settings.
Protected by domed anti-reflective, scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass, a flat black dial in shown in the 40mm decorated case. In-keeping with Bremont’s three-piece trip-tick case construction, is stainless-steel with a scratch resistant DLC treatment barrel. Still taking inspiration from aviation this timepiece has a closed case back decorated with an engraving of the ‘Supermarine Seaplane,’ something that has become somewhat of a trademark of this range.
An an impressive 50-hour power reserve is powered by the Modified Calibre 11 1/2’’’ BE-932AV automatic movement that is built by Bremont in the UK to meet their strict standards and COSC certification. A Black integrated rubber strap with the pin buckle clasp is a super practical accompaniment to the watch and as always with Bremont more strap options can be purchase in the future.
