As part of Rado’s 2023 releases, Rado have introduced the Captain Cook in in full plasma High-Tech Ceramic with a Skeleton dial. (R32148162) This original looking timepiece from 1962 is brought to life in a new and improved form for the 21st century. Rado’s latest partnership announcement saw them become the official timing partner of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) with this watch being the featured timepiece in all the advertisements.
Framed with a PVD rose gold bezel and protected by sapphire crystal glass with double anti-reflective coating, is a beautiful skeletonised dial to show off the inner working. The contrasting baton hour markers are accompanied with matching hands with white Super-LumiNova which ensure fantastic visibility in low light.
The back of the ceramic case also features a view port into the watches movement. A superb matt-finish to the monobloc case and adjustable bracelet pairs nicely with the warm tones and the greatest feature of ceramic is that it is highly scratch-resistant.
Rado’s Swiss Made R763 automatic movement inside exceeds standard accuracy test requirements from 3 to 5 positions and provides the wearer with an 80-hour power reserve. The screw down crown protects the watch in water to 300 meters. With every Rado watch purchase you will be supplied with a Five-year international guarantee and official Rado watch gift box packaging.
