For 30 years, Clogau have been creating stunning pieces of jewellery using rare Welsh gold. Named after the abandoned gold mine which provided their initial gold, Clogau takes pride in the materials they use. Each piece is a celebration of their rich Welsh heritage, with the landscape and materials being key inspirations for every piece of Clogau jewellery.
The Royal Clogau® collection pays tribute to the Royal Family's connection to Welsh gold beginning in 1911, when Edward was invested as Prince of Wales with regalia made using gold from the Clogau St David's mine. This stunning Necklace is crafted from sterling silver and features St David’s mine gold on the bar of the stirrups. The Stirrup Necklace symbolises the connection between the Royal Family and their horses that has lasted for generations.
Each purchase comes complete with official Clogau packaging and a two-year warranty. More Clogau pieces can be viewed here.
