Each generation of the Connected since its launch in 2015 has become sleeker whilst packing in more advancements in technology. This luxury smart watch features a 45mm ultra-light Grade 2 titanium case which incorporates a black rubberized steel crown for superior grip during challenging sports sessions. The large crown means the functions are easier to use during your workout and the new more fluid designed pushbuttons have the same pressure as a traditional chronograph Tag Heuer, which is a great subtle touch. Framed with a fixed ceramic bezel the dial is protected with sapphire crystal glass.
Google’s Wear OS 2 is the operating system of the watch, and the new Wear OS 3 is expected soon with a free upgrade, which can be supported on Android and IOS devices. Connectivity between your devices and the watch is also enhanced thanks to the latest Bluetooth 5.0, the new wireless standard offers data transfer at twice the speed as before.
The tapered lugs on the Connected Sport Edition ensure that it is fit for any activity, holding the interchangeable rubber strap and sandblasted black DLC steel pin buckle. The rubber strap features a red colour pattern with a fine mesh, allowing the skin to breathe during a sport session. The rubber will not degrade with sweat and is easy to adjust with the pin buckle fastening. The watch will still look great with many face options for when you are not using it for workout purposes too.
The charging stand can also be used for displaying the watch too, the night mode will also activate when charging on the stand, replacing the need for a clock on your nightstand. The watch is also supplied with a new case to store the parts and the 2-year international warranty.
