For the 2022 model of the TAG Heuer Formula 1 X Red Bull Racing, colour plays a more prominent role! A bracelet and rubber strap version also gives consumers more options.
A 43mm case head features the livery of Red Bull, in blue, but this year the accent colours of red and yellow play a bigger a role. The outer red ring on the dial is the most obvious extra use of colour, but yellow features more too with the Chronograph seconds hand popping from the dial. A date window at 4 o’clock finishes off the dial design.
Polished and brushed finishes are used throughout for great contrasting effect and the subtle red ring on one of pushed buttons are fine extra details. The case back is engraved with a full Red Bull Racing design, which is always great to see on a unique special edition watch.
Housed inside the watch is TAG Heuer’s Swiss-made quartz chronograph movement, especially reliable in timekeeping. As this watch is motor sport focused, a chronograph that times milli-seconds up to 30 minutes is essential. The tachymeter bezel also adds the racing pedigree.
This model is equipped with the navy rubber strap and steel pin buckle; a great all-rounder. Completing this watch is the 2-year international warranty provided by TAG Heuer along with a special edition presentation case.
